The Australian Embassy in Stockholm

We are accredited to Sweden, Finland and Latvia and our role is to promote Australia's relationships in the region and to provide consular and passport assistance to Australians overseas.

Services we provide

The Australian Embassy in Stockholm can:

  • Renew or issue adult, child and emergency passports. You can now mail in your passport applications. Read more here for adults and here for children

  • Provide support and consular assistance

  • Provide notarial services

  • Promote Australia’s relationship with the region.

 

The Australian Embassy in Stockholm cannot:

  • Process visas

  • Process citizenships

  • Answer questions about immigration matters.

Australian Honorary Consuls 

If you live in Finland, Latvia or Estonia, you can book a passport appointment with one of our Honorary Consuls in Helsinki, Riga, Tallinn. Honorary Consuls in Helsinki, Riga and Tallinn are not able to provide any notarial or legal services, nor provide advice on these matters. Notarial services are performed only by the Australian Embassy in Stockholm. Please read what an Honorary Consul can and cannot do for further information.

Opening hours

Monday-Friday 08:30-16:30 by appointment only.  Appointments for passport and notarial services are generally scheduled from 09:30-16:00.
